PIPELINE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (PIPEd)

PIPEd (Pipeline Industry Professional Education) was established by OSD Pipelines in 2006.  It draws on the technical expertise and in-depth experience of the industry to deliver professional training services. With a mission to provide quality education to pipeliners by recognised pipeline specialists in the area of onshore pipeline design and operation, our mission statement is:

“To be a recognised world-leader in the provision of training solutions focused on all aspects of Pipeline education."

 

PIPEd proactively services the training needs of the Pipeline Industry. 

PIPEd continuously increases its development and delivery activities.  Development and delivery activities to the industry within Australia and overseas includes Technical and Operational Courses covering the various aspects of pipeline engineering

Our goals include:

  • Develop and implement best practice processes and procedures
  • Develop and deliver training where no suitable course exists
  • Coordinate the delivery of high quality training in line with legislative, industry and business needs
  • Provide the industry with a range of total training solutions and services
  • Donate all profits to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.

With PIPEd, it is possible to choose courses from the following streams:

  3. Operations and Maintenance
  4. Field Operations.

Our course developers and trainers are all recognised industry specialists in their fields.  We are always looking for industry experts to join the PIPEd team of trainers as well as expand the audience of existing industry courses through partnerships. PIPEd aims to form alliances with Tertiary Institutions around the world where course participants can obtain Recognition of Prior Learning towards post education studies relating to courses delivered by PIPEd.
