New PIPEd Training Coordinator Appointed

PIPEd has appointed Ivonne Kuypers as Training Coordinator. Ivonne has over 8 years experience in education, including training delivery, coordination and administration. She holds a Bachelor of Education. Ivonne will manage course registrations and coordinate training delivery.

Charity to Benefit from PIPEd

We are pleased to announce that all profits from training operations across Australia are to be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) for a minimum period of the next two years.
PIPEd Managing Director Brian O’Sullivan made this announcement on Sunday during an industry function. “By making the connection between PIPEd and MDF, we are able to positively demonstrate that PIPEd is truly a philanthropic venture
dedicated to training pipeliners,
and at the same time we are able to achieve support for our charity of choice; the MDF,” said Mr O’Sullivan. |
PIPEd Takes Off Overseas

In 2008, PIPEd went to Canada and the United States to present the "Understanding Hydrostatic Testing and Commissioning" PIPEd workshop in Houston and Toronto, organised by Golder Associates. Both workshops were very successful, with around 32 attendees at each venue and plenty of discussion and questions from the floor.
There is a huge difference between the North American pipeline standards and the Australian standard as regards hydrostatic testing. The Australian standard recognises...

In 2008, PIPEd announced its début in Houston and Toronto on. This was a fantastic achievement for us, the first international courses were run in November last year in Edmonton and Calgary. All these courses have and are only made possible with the help of our good friends at Golder Associates. |
